BEFORE GLORY, THERE WILL BE A STORY......

Before glory there will always be a story.

Before a breakthroughs there must be a passing through.

Endeavour to package yourself instead of wearing your problems on your face to be pitied by those who have packaged their problems to the nations of their world and are shedding secret tears in their closeth.

Pls, realize that we are all going through something. The world is not a stressfree zone or a comeforth zone.

The sun that melts the the candle, dry clothes is the same sun that hit you and make you fell terrible. Life is not a bed if roses.

Realize right now that life is a bed of torns, made of stones; where some people use stones as their regular pillows.

You must arise an rebuke whatever is contending with your peace, health, joy, etc.

Don't ever give in to failure. Failure is not an option. The only option is victory.

Go and get the victory......

You will be celebrated in Jesus name.

GOOD SUCCESS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 The secret of success is not a mystery after all. It consists of taking realistic steps with courage and confidence towards a specific goal. Success is not a game of luck or chance. You can only climb success ladder by being persuasive and persistent. Pessimistic and passive explorers easily give up the task of pursuit. They are not enthusiastic enough to persevere to the end. The passion needed to boost their enthusiasm and endure the hardship on the way to success is lacking in many students. On the other hand, success is sure for the saints who work for success. No man wins a battle he has no courage to fight. Success eludes the fearful and doubtful whose disposition is downbeat to life’s adventures. You must be like Joshua and develop confidence to pursue your goal. The beautiful thing about it all is that God will stand by you and help you to succeed. What a beautiful partnership! Go for it today.

SUCCESS STRATEGY

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1Corinthians 15: 58). Success is built up day by day as you consistently and conscientiously do your work bit by bit. To be steadfast and systematic in doing your work is a proven strategy of success. Take a clue from the scriptures that says, “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” (Isaiah 28: 10). Success begins with the achievement of small tasks and one task at a time. A little achievement of today together with that of tomorrow will eventually sum up to be a huge success on your part. Take for instance, you may not be able to read a three hundred page book and be thorough in a single day. You may not learn many Mathematical concepts and do all the exercises in your textbook in a day. You can however break down the work into portions that are convenient for you to do at a time. If you are consistent and conscientious in carrying out the duty, you will soon discover that the seemingly impossible task is done. Your success is within your reach if you will follow the laid down strategy. Do not allow a day to pass without achieving something worthwhile and tangible on your success goals. Make sure you do your work carefully and diligently without rushing through at any time. Be cautious of time drains that may rob you of great opportunities that God gives you from time to time. Learn to do your work thoroughly bit by bit on a daily basis. Be sure that you are building on your past achievements day by day and be consistent in laboring for success.

PASSION FOR PROGRESS

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain (1Corinthians 9: 24) One crucial prerequisite for success is passion. This is a God-given innate potential in you that drives you on in spite of any difficulty. As a student, you have this latent power to do great things if you care to stir it up. No student can achieve anything substantial in his studies without passion. Great achievers of old are people of great ardour. It is zeal for excellence that makes an athlete to wake up in the early hours of the day to practice in cold weather. Passion explains why exceptional students despise social gatherings and relaxation centres to concentrate on studying. Passion will make students to be enthusiastic, conscientious and persistent in pursuit of success without minding any obstacle. Excitement will make you to study hard without feeling the rigour. Passion for success must make you to burn candles in the night to read and study for excellent performance. Students who lack passion for progress will always remain in the zone of mediocrity. Students who are driven by enthusiasm will not lack the courage to climb up the ladder of success. The top is always the aim of students are ambitious. There is nothing anybody can really attain by being passive and pessimistic. Passion is the driving force through which champions thrive. Every student who aspires for success in life must be passionate in his academic pursuit.

PRUDENT MEN

The poor get poorer, and the rich get richer, when it comes to wisdom. If you choose a foolish or stubborn approach to life, God will make sure you get what you deserve – folly. If instead you are wise and prudent, God will give you more knowledge. Prudent men know what to do in most situations. They are careful, cautious, and discreet. They take advantage of life’s opportunities, and they steer clear of traps. They are successful and honored in life. They avoid the failure, pain, and trouble that foolish men must endure, who either miss or destroy opportunities and fall into many hurtful snares.

Bury and kick all the worries that bog you down.

Dr. E. Stanley Jones once said... "I am inwardly fashioned for faith, not for fear. Fear is not my native land; faith is. I am so made that worry and anxiety are sand in the machinery of life; faith is the oil. I live better by faith and confidence than by fear, doubt and anxiety. In anxiety and worry, my being is gasping for breath--these are not my native air. But in faith and confidence, I breathe freely--these are my native air. A John Hopkins University doctor says, 'We do not know why it is that worriers die sooner than the non-worriers, but that is a fact.' But I, who am simple of mind, think I know; we are inwardly constructed in nerve and tissue, brain cell and soul, for faith and not for fear. God made us that way. To live by worry is to live against reality." Worry is focusing on your problems and issues in life. Meditation is focusing on scriptures will bury and kick all the worries that bog you down. Don't forget: Where you focus your mind is completely your choice. So why focus on your problems when you can focus on God?

God's Word has been tried and true

I once heard this funny story... An old couple was sitting by the fireside. He looked over at her, had a romantic thought, and said, "After fifty years, I've found you tried and true." The wife's hearing wasn't very good, so she said, "What?" He repeated, "After fifty years, I've found you tried and true." "After fifty years, I'm tired of you too," she replied. I hope the story made you smile and laugh. It's a good way to start your day. Seriously though, I would like to point out to you today is this... God's Word has been tried and true. Unfortunately, despite of countless testimonies we've heard, miracles over miracles, victories over victories about God's limitless power, we still struggle to allow God to move in our lives. We're trying to control the steering wheel of our lives instead of letting it go and let God's hand be in control. The key to a victorious living is to constantly remind yourself of God's love, mercy, and grace. You do this by constantly meditating God's word or your memory verse. Studying, meditating the Scripture has an immense power and only those who are doing it can experience the power. Look, you don't have to believe everything that I'm saying. But you ought to try it and see if what I'm saying is true or not. Take Studying, meditating the scripture as part of your Christian life and move to a higher level of faith. Again, if you're not meditating God's Word, you're meditating someone else words. You decide.

the benefits are eternal

It's a story of the Italian poet Dante Alighieri, who was deeply immersed in meditation during a church service, and he failed to kneel at the appropriate moment. His enemies hurried to the bishop and demanded that Dante be punished for his sacrilege. Dante defended himself by saying... "If those who accuse me had had their eyes and minds on God, as I had, they too would have failed to notice events around them, and they most certainly would not have noticed what I was doing." End of story. How about you? Are your eyes and mind on God? You see, we're in the age of distraction. There more things now that gets our attention and it's harder to stay focused. With technology, we now have email, Internet, chat, mobile phones, facebook, etc. All these compete for your attention and eats up some of your time. The time that you should be spending on activities that will help you grow spiritually. Studying scriptures can take only 5 to 10 minutes of your time. But what you'll gain spiritually is immeasurable. Marinating your mind with God's Word and His promises is the fastest way to be closer to God. God is ALWAYS looking forward to talk to you with all your attention is on Him. So don't let the busyness of this world control your life. Instead, let your life be controlled by the scriptures you've memorized. If you aren't sure how to begin with scripture memorization, we created a program for beginners like you. Recent report shows that an average adult spent four and half hours per day on television. That's 30 hours per week. Wow! But guess what? Studying scriptures won't take you that much but the benefits are eternal.

Bring your spiritual life to the next level.

Do you know Harry Houdini? Harry Houdini, the famed escape artist issued a challenge wherever he went. He could be locked in any jail cell in the country, he claimed, and set himself free quickly and easily. Always he kept his promise, but one time something went wrong. Houdini entered the jail in his street clothes; the heavy, metal doors clanged shut behind him. He took from his belt a concealed piece of metal, strong and flexible. He set to work immediately, but something seemed to be unusual about this lock. For 30 minutes he worked and got nowhere. An hour passed, and still he had not opened the door. By now he was bathed in sweat and panting in exasperation, but he still could not pick the lock. Finally, after laboring for 2 hours, Harry Houdini collapsed in frustration and failure against the door he could not unlock. But when he fell against the door, it swung open! It had never been locked at all! But in his mind it was locked and that was all it took to keep him from opening the door and walking out of the jail cell. That's how powerful your God-given mind is. So if you think you're too old to memorize Bible verses...then you're right. If you think you have a bad memory and can't memorize scriptures...then again you're right. And if you think you're too busy to memorize God's Word...you're right too. Simply stated, you'll believe what you want to believe is true. I'm sorry but all these are just lies that the enemy are whispering to your ears. Because the enemy would rather have you meditate on fears, doubts, and impurity than the true and living power of the Word of God. Today, make a bold step to bring your spiritual life to the next level. Click here to memorize God's Word today! If you're not meditating God's Word right now...whose words you're meditating?

Be still, and know that I am God

If you're like many Christians who are trying to memorize scriptures, you probably asked this question to yourself... Why do I forget? Not just bible verses but also things like things to buy from grocery store, call someone, pay your bills, etc. The reason for most of the annoying instances of forgetting is that you do not take the trouble to connect new information with some fact you already know. Isolated facts drop out of the mind quickly, but if you file new knowledge in relation to something already established in your mind, you will retain it and be able to refer to it whenever you need it. It is simply a matter of making a special use of your power of association, which is the beginning of all learning processes. William James said, "In mental terms, the more other facts a fact is associated with in the mind, the better possession of it our memory retains. Each of its associates becomes a hook to which it hangs, a means to fish it up by when sunk beneath the surface." Association is making mental hooks from which you may fish facts out of your mind as you require them. This mental filing system will provide the mental hooks upon which to hang, or file, anything you want to remember. Certain selected words, called KEY WORDS, are the mental hooks in your filing system. Each one represents a vivid image. One of the verses I love to recite is Psalm 46:10. My key words are "be still". Once I have the keywords in mind, all other words of that verse just fit in. "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." You must have this keywords in all the verses you're trying to memorize.
I strongly believe that pain is God's megaphone so we start to listen to Him. If you're in pain or any troubles, be sensitive as God is trying to say something to you. Go and get your Bible and start to memorize scriptures or you can check out this this amazingly simple scripture memory program. While we were still unbelieving and in darkness we all developed some form of habitual sins like... ...cursing when we're upset. ...impure or sexual thoughts. ...smoking and drinking. ...over eating when we're stressed. And a whole lot more. After we met Christ, accepted Him and learned the truth, we're faced with a serious struggle to break the old habit. Recent study shows that the faster to break any habit is not by breaking it...but by changing it. Let's say you have the bad habit of overeating. Whenever you feel the stress from work you tend to overeat. Whenever you do that, you feel better at least for a moment. Then you feel the guilt because you know that it isn't good for your body. So how are you going to break that sinful habit? The next time you feel that stress from work, instead of going to your favourite restaurant and overeat, just go get the Bible and meditate scriptures like in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that says... "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." Meditating scriptures is a better way to get rid of stress related work than to punish your body by overeating. That's why, I urge you to start memorizing, studying etc. scriptures for you to break any sinful habit. It's the easiest way I know to break any habit that displeases our Father.

Scripture meditation is proven way to get rid worries or anxieties in your life.

There was a man in a community that had the reputation for always being able to catch fish. Regardless of the time of the year it was, or whether anybody else was catching fish, this man was always managed to come back with a boat load of fish. His brother-in-law, who happened to be a Game Warden had always been amazed at the man's success. So, one morning the man agreed to take his brother in law fishing with him. They went to a lake that was known for its poor fishing. The game warden watched his brother-in-law take the boat out to the middle of the lake and cut the motor off. The game warden was confused as he noticed that his brother-in-law didn't worry about finding a ledge or brush-pile, or anything like that. Then instead of getting his rod and reel out, the game warden's brother-in-law pulled a stick of dynamite out of a sack, lit it, and threw it overboard. A few seconds later, there was a big BOOM, and almost immediately the surface of the lake was covered with stunned fish. The Game warden couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. He immediately began reciting the fishing laws and regulations to his brother-in-law. But this didn't seem to bother his brother in law in the least. He simply reached into the bag for another stick of dynamite, lit it, and tossed it to the game warden and said... ..."You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?" The game warden noticed the fuse was almost to the end and He quickly decided to fish. Now that story probably isn't true, but it's still a good story. Unfortunately, I think God would like to throw some of us a stick of dynamite this morning and say, "Are you gonna talk, or are you going to fish?" Don't let this day pass without talking to God. You can't afford to. Scripture meditation is proven way to get rid worries or anxieties in your life. Take the plunge now and join other spirit-filled Christians through scripture meditation.

life is about choices.

There was a man who got lost in the desert. After wandering around for a long time his throat became very dry, about that time he saw a little shack in the distance. He made his way over to the shack and found a water pump with a small jug of water and a note. The note read: "pour all the water into the top of the pump to prime it, if you do this you will get all the water you need". Now the man had a choice to make, if he trusted the note and poured the water in and it worked he would have all the water he needed. If it didn't work he would still be thirsty and he might die. Or he could choose to drink the water in the jug and get immediate satisfaction, but it might not be enough and he still might die. After thinking about it the man decided to risk it. He poured the entire jug into the pump and began to work the handle, at first nothing happened and he got a little scared but he kept going and water started coming out. So much water came out he drank all he wanted, took a shower, and filled all the containers he could find. Because he was willing to give up momentary satisfaction, he got all the water he needed. Now the note also said: "after you have finished, please refill the jug for the next traveller." The man refilled the jug and added to the note: " Please prime the pump, believe me it works"! We have the same choice to make, do we hold on to what we have because we don't believe there are better things in store for us, and settle for immediate satisfaction? Or do we trust God and give up all that we have to get what God has promised us? I think the choice is obvious. We need to pour in all the water, trust God with everything. Now, you may be thinking..."But trusting God is easier said than done." And I agree. That's why you need to constantly read your Bible, memorize, and meditate its message. The reason being...regularly meditating the scriptures helps to build up your faith in God and you learn to trust Him more. Meditating, memorizing, studying Scripture and observing quite time is a powerful habit that some Christians have not developed that's why some fail to grow spiritually. Endevour and be ready to bring your faith to a higher level through scripture reading, studying etc.. In the end, life is about choices. It's your choice to remain in your level of faith or your choice to grow maturely in Christ.

DON'T GIVE UP

Phillip Yancey describes grace in his book What's So Amazing About Grace. He writes, "Grace means there is nothing we can do to make God love us more--no amount of spiritual calisthenics and renunciations, no amount of knowledge gained from seminaries, Bible school, no amount of crusading on behalf of righteous causes. And grace means there is nothing we can do to make God love us less--no amount of racism or pride or pornography or adultery or even murder. Grace means that God already loves us as much an infinite God can possibly love." Listen my brethren, If you are still... ...struggling to break any sinful habit. ...hating yourself because of your sins. ...feeling unworthy for failing God again and again. Don't give up! God is not giving up on you. Take God's promises by heart and mind. Pick a memory verse and meditate it throughout the day to remind yourself how much God loves you. Sinful habit is a spiritual killer. Unless you deal it with urgency and seriousness, you won't break it. Take a bold step now to break any habit that displeases God with scripture meditation.

Faith comes by hearing,

Romans 10:17 it says... "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" Scripture tells us that every person has been given a measure of faith. That faith can grow and increase; or it can be diminished. Notice that the scripture doesn't say, "Faith comes by having heard the Word of God one time." It's by hearing -- present tense. Of course, God's Word can transform us in an instant, but most of the time, we need to hear God's truth over and over again in order for it to become active in our lives. Remember, the more we hear the Word, the more His truth chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that's been built up over the years. Simply stated, His truth sets us free and causes our faith to grow! Just as a seed needs water daily to grow, your spirit needs the Word of God daily. Your faith needs to be watered by His Word. It can be as simple as selecting a few scriptures to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. Read them out loud over and over. Let His truth sink down into your heart and move you forward into the freedom and victory He has prepared for you!

Are you in the level of faith that you desire?

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side." Very quietly the doctor said, "I don't know." "You don't know? You, a Christian man, does not know what is on the other side?" The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened he sprang in without fear." "I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing: I know my Master is there, and that is enough. And when the door opens, I will pass through it with gladness, but with no fear." Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen! (Heb. 11:1) Let me ask you this... Are you in the level of faith that you desire? Or you need to develop or increase your faith further? Today is the time to bring your faith to a higher level. Quit procrastinating and start studying, memorizing, meditating scriptures and God's promises. The fact is, scripture studying, and meditation is a proven way to increase your faith. You and you alone can develop your faith in God. Not your preacher nor your pastor. And you develop it by regularly meditating God's Word in your heart and mind. So push yourself to move and take action. Are you ready to be a Spirit-Filled Christian? You see, while I was studying the life of Timothy (Paul's Disciple) I learned that his seeming small acts of assisting Paul produced BIG results. Paul and Timothy labored together to spread the gospel and grow the Church. If you're part of a Church or own a Bible you're now enjoying the fruit of Timothy's labor. But this message is not really about Church growth but about this revelation that I had... And that is... Those Spirit-Filled Christians was once an ordinary Christians but they invested in seemingly small acts to help them grow in their faith. In short, small act will lead to BIG impact down the road. These acts can be a... - Short prayer - 10-minute Bible reading in the bus - A quick words of encouragement to a friend - A sincere smile to a stranger - Scripture meditation within the day. That's why I'm passionate about encouraging people to study and meditate scriptures. Because this seeming small act of discipline can turn you from an ordinary Christian and be a Spirit-Filled Christian. A Christian that can hear God's voice and feel His presence. A Spirit-Filled Christian that's an encouragement and inspiration to many. You can be Spirit-Filled through a small act of memorizing and meditating scriptures. Take this important first step.

DO NOT MISS OUT ON GOD'S BEST FOR YOU

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10, NIV) It is no secret nowadays that times are tough and between work and family responsibilities, it can be very difficult to live a satisfying and fulfilling life. The popular method these days is to enter survival mode, to spend each day of your life trying to survive and get by instead of enjoying the time on Earth given to you by God. But that is no way to live a life. Take my word for it when I say that you are missing out on God's best! Today, make a stand and declare that your survival days are long gone and that now, more than ever, is the time to start living your life the way God intended it. Your shadow days are over. Our Father shall pour His favor and blessings on you and it shall come bursting in to provide you, when you learn to recognize it, with a satisfying and abundant life of goodness!

Are you living according to God's code or God's word?

A TV camera crew was on assignment in Southern Florida filming the widespread destruction of Hurricane Andrew. In one scene, amid the devastation and debris stood one house on its foundation. The owner was cleaning up the yard when the reporter approached. "Sir, why is your house the only one standing?" asked the reporter. "How did you manage to escape the severe damage of the hurricane?" "I built the house myself," the man replied. "I also built it according to Florida State building code. When the code called for 2x6 trusses, I used 2x6 trusses. I was told that a house built according to code could withstand a hurricane. I did, and it did." How about you? Are you living according to God's code or God's word? Or are you playing the worlds' standard and make it your our own standard way of living? We're now seeing the signs of the times. Today... ...Pornography is everywhere. ...Premarital sex is a normal for a relationship. ...Lying is just part of day to day conversation. ...Homosexuality is becoming a new gender. ...Any sinful act has become a norm in our society. That's why you need to be vigilant; grow daily by studying and meditating God's word. God would like you to live base on a solid commitment to His words and His ways. But here's the thing...if you don't know and don't meditate His words, how can you be sure if you're still in God's perfect will? So today, make a commitment to live fully according to God's code by studying, obeying His commandments and meditating scriptures. And teach your kids and children to do the same. It's the greatest inheritance you can give your love ones.

"Man does not live by bread alone

I have heard Karl Ingersoll, another pastor of Fredericton First Wesleyan, say... "The measure of the greatness of a man's love for God is not found in his attention to the things he has to do, but in his attention to the things he doesn't have to do." That is, your salvation doesn't depend on your going to Sunday school or prayer. But your greatness as a Christian, and your intimacy with God, do. And probably there's no other religious activities can help you develop you intimacy with God better than reading God's Word, memorizing it, and meditating it throughout the day. Because if you'll think about it scripture studying, memorization is a form of worship, a form of prayer, and a form meditation. It's like three birds in one stone. So make it a habit to read, memorize, and meditate scriptures. It's a good discipline that develops your faith and relationship with your creator. As it is written in Matthew 4:4 "Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." Don't start your day without studying, meditating your memory verse. Then, add more Bible verses to your memory once you have the momentum. Don't let the enemy push you to procrastinate again.

WHAT IS YOUR ANCHOR DURING HER PERSONAL STORM.

One time, a young man who attended a local church heard that the husband of one of their ushers recently died. He decided to visit the widow in their hope. He was even practicing the words he will tell her once she opens the door. To his surprise, the widow was in good spirits. She even offered tea and biscuits. He asked the widow why she was such in a good mood considering that her husband has just died. She replied, “Yes. I am saddened. But I am also joyful because my husband is with the Lord. I have been reading my Bible more. I read Psalm 146 over and over again.” “The Lord told me through these verses that He will take care of me. I do not have to worry about anything.” Instead of being the one to encourage the widow, the young man left the house encouraged. Consider it a change of roles. In Psalm 146:4-5, it says: “When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.” The widow overcame her depression not through therapy or a self-help book. It was because she meditated of the Word of God. In fact, I am sure she has Studied, memorized, meditated Psalm 146 already. It has become her anchor during her personal storm. Best of all, through her memory verse, God spoke to her and assured her that she will be provided for. That’s what a simple studying of scripture can do for you. What this really is about is teaching your brain and engaging your heart to not only learn scripture but to really walk your Christian talk. Be a mobile carrier of the glory, power, word of God .

encourage yourself

A rags-to-riches businessman was interview by a local newspaper about his sudden rise of prominence in the business world. The reported asked his secret to success. He replied, “My secret is found in the left pocket of my jacket.” The reporter prodded the businessman to show it. “Are you sure you want to know?”. The reported nodded in excitement. The businessmen pulled out an old pocket notebook with scribbles in it. It contained inspirational quotes from leaders of past and present. “But the most important part is found at the back of this notebook.” He showed the back pages and found Bible scripture verses. “These Bible verses saved my life, put me in focus, and God gave me success.” The reporter could not question his claim because he had all the proof in the world of his success. Read this verse of scripture taken from Joshua 1:8 (New International Version) “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” In the Message bible, the same verse is paraphrased this way: “And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.” That is why we encourage you today to confess, study and memorize scripture so that it will not depart from your mind and, thus, your mouth. Ponder. Meditate. Reflect. Memorize Scripture daily. Get this: These are key words that will help you be successful in life. But not just any self-help book or philosophy to contemplate. It should be the Word of God - The Bible. No doubt, the key to transforming yourself from an ordinary Christian to a Spirit-Filled Christian is through scripture study, confession, memorization and meditation. So encourage yourself to succeed in life….
