BUT GOD GAVE THE INCREASE
(1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.)
Mr. Vill, was invited by his in-laws after series of attacks on them by their enemies, to assist in arresting and winning the battle that has almost wiped away the people and their generation. The error in that land too has also come to a full blown war threatening to destroy the foundation of their lives.
..When Mr. Vill got to the place, he told his in-laws of how anxiety almost wipe out everybody in their land and the strategies to ameliorate the problems.
He then pleaded that 28 deaf and dump people be sought and given for his mission to be accomplished in that land.
Within the twinkle of an eye, the men were made available to him. Unknown to them; the secret of victory lied in these men.
The people did not know how to communicate to these deaf and dump men; but to alleviate the problems in their land; they met every demand of their in-law. - Mr. Vill.
The great day came when Mr. Vill and his men were to commence the alleviation of the problems; the deaf and dump men who were now skilled in the art with full understanding of their assignment went into action.
They first gave reverence to God and to the amazement and to full glare of the people these men fought, captured and plundered the root of the people’s apprehension.
When asked why the use of deaf and dump people, Mr. Vill said that they would not hear the discouraging sermons, words, and distraction etc of the indigenes of the land; he also said the fearful talks; boasting of the enemies were no treats to them because they could not hear them.
Mr. Vill said most importantly that there was no compromise, leakage of their warfare plans, talk back etc from his camp.
Thus the word of God admonishes us to as listed below:
2 Ch 32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah
Ps 144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
Zec 10:5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
