THE HARVEST IS PAST, THE SUMMER IS ENDED, & WE ARE NOT SAVED


Mathew 9:37-8 “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.



A long time ago, there was a small community by the Pacific Ocean.

This community witnesses an incessant accidents in the ocean; and with high rate of accidents on the high sea, large number of them died whenever the ocean is boisterous , capsizing their boats and ships. Besides the high rate of death recorded, this also results into great loss of their merchandize in the ocean.

A time came, the community came together and decided that a group of good swimmers – divers be gathered to stay by the ocean to save lives whenever there is such occurrence.

For a long time after this laudable step was agreed upon, they were no mishap in the ocean because diligence was applied.

Within a short time, the group mandated to save lives complained that they are bored each day they stay by the ocean with no activities.

They suggested that game be introduced; hence the community bought ludo, table tennis, snooker, etc to eradicate boredom. Everything went well, they group has now became attached to the games that they begin to lose focus of the original intention they group was inaugurate.

The members of this group were meant dive into the ocean to save the lives of the occupant of either the boat or ship; but because they are now very busy with games, whenever there is mishap in the ocean the residents will call for the attention of the group, help! , help! , help! but they decide to finish the game before the drowning occupants of the boat are attended to.

This behavior caused the death of so many citizen of that community until the king of that community decided to deny this group some amenities in other to refocus the group to bre mindful of their primary assignment..(TO SAVE LIVES).

Just as men and women have abandon their primary assignment on earth – to depopulate the kingdom of darkness and save those that are APPOINTED to be destroyed by Satan and his agents.

God appointed and sent us into this earth to bring profit unto Him and ensure that we become light to other and exhibit God’s kind of love; but we are still busy playing the game we picked up on the highway of life that are not necessary for our spiritual growth.

My Father Lord, for many the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and they are not saved; Lord God, do not let me perish without being saved. Let me not pick up a game in my journey of life that will bring disappointment to your face in Jesus name.
