TRUTH IS VERY STUBBORN

Truth is very stubborn. You can do whatever you like to with it and it will still stand because it is the truth. It is also very expensive and unfortunately, becoming scarce commodity even in the house of God. It is gradually becoming a rare commodity even in the lives of born again Christians. Lies, it is said, may dominate for years but when the truth comes it breaks them into irreparable pieces. Until you call a particular thing what God calls it, you are still joking.

When you come to the house of God and hear the truth, it should yield fruit in your life. It is possible for you to love the truth but it is only when you do it that it will set you free. There is nothing like half truth. It is lie as far as the Bible is concerned.

The best insecticide against error is the truth hence the common saying that truth is always bitter. Right now if you can locate any falsehood in your life you need to talk to the Lord, ask Him to flush out every falsehood in your life, in Jesus’ name.

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…” Hebrews 12:2a

If we will look to Jesus, Jesus will be the author and finisher of our faith. The word “author” in the Greek literally means “example,” “leader,” or “originator.” Jesus is the example of faith, but He’s also the originator of our faith. Faith comes from beholding the Lord Jesus Christ, looking at Him.

You see, all the other heroes of the faith mentioned in Hebrews 11 can cheer us on, but they’re not our chief example. He is the One who never sinned, who never failed. His name is Jesus. The more you behold the Lord Jesus Christ, you’re going to find out that He is the author and finisher.

He’s the one who originates the grace. He’s the one who fires the starting gun. He’s the goal toward which we run. He is the coach who runs alongside us and gives us courage and strength to run the race.

It is Jesus all the way. If you want faith, fix your eyes upon Jesus Christ. Keep “looking unto Jesus.” Your faith will grow.

GOD OF WONDERS

"Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines...yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation"
(Habakkuk 3:17-18, NKJV)

All of us face obstacles and challenges in this life.

All of us treasure our dreams inside our hearts and, at times, it's difficult to admit that some of those dreams might never see the light of day.

During these moments of doubt, we are given a choice.

Either we choose to allow ourselves to be engulfed with the negative and be discouraged inside and out, or we can sing songs of praise to God and pray thanks that all this will pass and He will open doors for us toward a brighter future.

Most people say, "As soon as I'm done with my problems, I'll praise God," or "I'll think better and positive thoughts as soon as my trials are over."

But faith does not work that way. As long as you allow your thoughts to be limited by the negative, God will also be limited in terms of what He can do for us.

The secret is to think in the positive at all times, especially during the most trying times. Only then will God be able to fulfill His promise to us of victory and everlasting glory.

GOD IS READY TO CHANGE YOU, ARE YOU READY?....

Mathew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Mathew  21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

A preacher and an atheistic barber were once walking through the city slums.

Said the barber to the preacher: "This is why I cannot believe in a God of love. If God was as kind and loving as you say, He would not permit all this poverty, disease, and squalor. He would not allow these poor bums to be addicted to dope and other character-destroying habits. No, I cannot believe in a God who permits these things."

The minister was silent until they met a man who was especially unkept and filthy. His hair was hanging down his neck and he had a half-inch of stubble on his face.

Said the minister: "You can't be a very good barber or you wouldn't permit a man like that to continue living in this neighborhood without a haircut and a shave."

Indignantly the barber answered: "Why blame me for that man's condition? I can't help it that he is like that. He has never come in my shop. I could fix him up and make him look like a gentleman!"

Giving the barber a penetrating look, the minister said: "Then don't blame God for allowing the people to continue in their evil ways, when He is constantly inviting them to come and be saved."

Truth be told, God can't change you unless you step forward and ask God to help you change for the better.

Take a step for God to help you resolve your life’s issue.

This simple step of studying the  scriptures can change your life dramatically.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians have experienced the power of scripture meditation.

Be a doer and not just reader of God's Word.

SOMETHING FOR GOD TO DO

SOMETHING FOR GOD TO DO

HIS SPIRIT OF LIFE……

Revelations11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

A man was tired of life and about to die of persistent hunger. He has tried all he could to survive life’s numerous attacks and decided that his only asset; - guitar should be sold to feed himself in other to be alive.

He heard of an auction and decided to go sell his most precious asset- guitar. At the commencement of the auction, he put up the guitar for $200.00 – my guitar; $200.00, going, going, going……..

There was no response, again, he shouted; my guitar, $200.00, goining!going! gone….

While this was going on, a spectator from the crowd walked up to the podium, took the guitar and played it for a while.

Many people applauded him and wished they have funds with them. Immediately he put back the guitar the owner took it up and shouted. My guitar, $3000.00, going, going, gone.

Another fellow walked up to him to enquire why he raised the bar from $200 to $3,000.00.The old man opined that since the master handled it He has added value and a meaning to the guitar.

When the master –God handles a life or anything, e.g. business, marriage, home, etc the value would be added to that life, business, home, etc.

When God handles a life, the transformation in that life becomes unimaginable.

Beloved, let God handle your life, and let His Spirit come into you, please.
