MOMENT OF RE INSTALLATION.

MOMENT OF RE INSTALLATION.

Do you know what's bothering your spouse? Do you know the root of their frustration? Do you know what they just can't let go of? And most importantly, do you know how to draw it out and how to help them finally heal?

This is one of the many issues, I'll want you to evaluate, and invite God into te matter.

Most people have something that continues to bother them, something that happened years ago that they never let go of, something that they never "moved through" with their spouse.

And there it sits; getting heavier and heavier as the years go by. Until finally it comes out as, "I'm not happy" or "I want a divorce" or "I don't love you anymore."

This little foxes spoil the great vineyard / garden that the Lord gave us to tend.

Any marriage going trough difficult challenges or at the verge of collapse, O Lord be involved in the affairs of the couples in Jesus name.

GOD GRANTS THE DESIRE OF THE RIGHTEOUS

GOD GRANTS THE DESIRE OF THE RIGHTEOUS

Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

2 Samuel 7:19 And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

Psalms 103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Proverbs 10:24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

A little boy wanted $100 very badly. He prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. So, he decided to write a letter to God requesting $100.

When the postal authorities received the letter to "God, USA", they decided to send it to the President.

The President was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5 bill. The President thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5 bill, and sat down to write a thank-you note to God. The postal authorities forwarded this letter on to the President, too.

It read:

"Dear God, Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington, D.C., and those guys deducted $95 in taxes!"

It's a funny story but what we can learn from this is...

...sometimes when God answers your prayer it will not be exactly as you wanted it to be.

But you just have to trust. Trust that God's answer to your prayer is the best for you.

Yes, sometimes it seems that God doesn't make sense but remember in Isaiah 55:8-9 it says...His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. His ways are higher than our ways.

That's why it's important to keep His Word to your heart and mind through scripture meditation.

You become a stronger Christian. You start to trust God more and more each day.

WHEN TIME RUN OUT ON YOU

WHEN TIME RUN OUT ON YOU

Roger Staubach who led the Dallas Cowboys to the World Championship in '71 admitted that his position as a quarterback who didn't call his own signals was a source of trial for him.

Coach Landry sent in every play. He told Roger when to pass, when to run and only in emergency situations could he change the play (and he had better be right!).

Even though Roger considered coach Landry to have a "genius mind"when it came to football strategy, pride said that he should be able to run his own team.

Roger later said, "I faced up to the issue of obedience. Once I learned to obey there was harmony, fulfillment, and victory."

The point of the story is simple.

And that is in our relationship with God, it requires full submission and obedience.

If God is convicting you to do something or to get rid of sins or habits...just do it.

Like in our story, once you learned to obey, that's the only time you'll experience harmony, fulfillment, and victory in your life.

Now, if God is convicting you to meditate His Words, start with just one verse and grow from there.

Studying and meditating the scripture is a habit that will strengthen you spiritually and gives you the power to resist temptation of the devil.

So take the time now and... don’t allow time to run out on you.

DEALING WITH LIFE’S RECESSION

DEALING WITH LIFE’S RECESSION

A person cannot live long with recession. Dealing with misery takes two forms, prevention and long term cure. Prevention is the strategy of dealing with conditions that lead to recession. Which can include simple things like enough rest or talking out discouragement with a trusted friend.

Prevention involves finding a foundation that gives hope; especially in the mist of circumstances that are recession. producing. God can provide that foundation. His love can hold you in the midst of any storm. His wisdom can guide you through it and his strength can steady you as you move forward. Recession. need not overtake you. Why not open the door of your recession. and invite God into it. Ask him to walk with you. Don’t try to live independently from him. He invites you to share the journey with him. Why not choose God as your foundation today?

`````````
My Father God, my recession. is overwhelming. I don’t know what to do. I need your strength to anchor me and your wisdom to guide me. I need you to give me a firm footing as I work through this. I invite you into my life right now. Forgive me for living independent from you. I need you. Come into my life and bring me hope today. Amen.
THE WONDERS OF GOD’S WORD
THE WONDERS OF GOD’S WORD
Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
2Timothy 2:9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
(KJV)
A man in Kansas City was severely injured in an explosion.
Evangelist Robert L. Sumner tells about him in his book The Wonders of the Word of God.
The victim's face was badly disfigured, and he lost his eyesight as well as both hands.
He was just a new Christian, and one of his greatest disappointments was that he could no longer read the Bible.
Then he heard about a lady in England who read Braille with her lips. Hoping to do the same, he sent for some books of the Bible in Braille.
Much to his dismay, however, he discovered that the nerve endings in his lips had been destroyed by the explosion.
One day, as he brought one of the Braille pages to his lips, his tongue happened to touch a few of the raised characters and he could feel them.
Like a flash he thought, I can read the Bible using my tongue. At the time Robert Sumner wrote his book, the man had "read" through the entire Bible four times.
How many of you can say you've read through the Bible four times--with two good eyes? This man had a craving--and even losing his eyesight wouldn't prevent him from reading God's Word.
So don't let laziness or procrastination prevent you from reading and meditating God's Word.
Be a "no-excuse" Christian and start studying scriptures starting from today.
ARE YOU READY FOR A MIRACLE?
ARE YOU READY FOR A MIRACLE?
Luke 18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
What a sad comment it is on human nature, that although the Church prayed for Peter’s miraculous deliverance, they seemed unable to believe it when God brought it about in fact.
Peter appeared to have more trouble getting into the prayer meeting than he did in getting out of prison! How ready are you for a miracle?
FAITH
FAITH
Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith never quibbles at God demands, even though those demands are sometimes go against reason. But what is faith? No greater definition of faith has ever been given than that contained in the simple acrostic:
Forsaking All I Trust Him.
My God, whosoever puts his trust upon you will never be stranded, let me never be stranded in the race of life in Jesus name.
O LORD, DO NOT BE SILENT
O LORD, DO NOT BE SILENT
1 John 5;14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
How do God’s true servants react in times of emergency or great crises? They react as did Abraham by turning to God in fervent believing prayer. Life’s best outlook is a prayerful uplook!
O marvelous God, because your eyes are upon the righteous, and your ears are open unto their cry, do not be silent to my cry in Jesus name.
THE SUPREME NEED OF THE HOUR
THE SUPREME NEED OF THE HOUR
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Exodus 40:15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
When God wants to turn situation from despair to delight, all He has to do is breathe into it.
The aspirate (the letter (“h”) is inserted Abram’s and Sarai’s names, thus indicating that the breath of God was at work. He does the same with the word “impossible” .He breathes into it and it becomes “Him- possible”.
O Lord, have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Let me and my seed enjoy the covenant of an everlasting blessings, good health and long life in Jesus name.
GOD’S SEVENFOLD PROMISE
GOD’S SEVENFOLD PROMISE
1. I will make you into a great nation
2. I will make your name great.
3. I will bless those who bless you.
4. I will bless you.
5. You will be a blessing whoever curses you I will curse.
6. All people on earth will be blessed through you
7. I will not leave nor forsake you.
O God, as you took Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac, take me through a land that flows with milk and honey, multiply me and grant me my own Isaac in Jesus name.
GOD’S WAYS ARE UNFATHOMABLE
GOD’S WAYS ARE UNFATHOMABLE
Isaiah 55:8"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
God often deals with our problems and difficulties, not by removing them, but by giving us a greater vision of Himself. This may not remove the irritating circumstances, but it deepens our conviction that God knows what He is doing.
O God, you are not a man, that you should lie; neither the son of man, that you should repent: hath you said, and shall you not do it? or hath you spoken, and shall you not make it good? Because your word never fails, let your word accomplish for me what no man can do for in Jesus name.
LEARN THE ACT OF NAVIGATION, BECAUSE THERE WILL STORM
LEARN THE ACT OF NAVIGATION, BECAUSE THERE WILL STORM
Matt 5:11"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
The best time to learn the act of navigation is not when you are in the storm, but prior to it. How will you cope with a Job – size problem?
Have you a strategy for dealing with issues before they arise? If not perhaps now is the time to start working on it.
O Lord, enable me to take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. Make me strong in my time weakness in Jesus name
TIME AND CHANCE STILL HAPPENS
TIME AND CHANCE STILL HAPPENS
1 Peter 3:16 “….having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed”.
Roman 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. (KJV)
Why do bad things happen to good people? If you have often pondered that problem you are not alone here is only one answer. God allows bad thing to happen to is people only if He sees a way of turning the bad into greater good.
Almighty God, make known the riches of your glory on the vessels of mercy, which you had prepared beforehand for glory for in Jesus name,
SOMEONE WITH A MISSION
SOMEONE WITH A MISSION
Philippians 3:13 -14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
What make a missionary? Crossing the sea? No.. seeing the cross! A missionary (a word, incidentally, you’ll not find in the Bible) simply means “someone with a mission” As you study Paul missionary strategy, spare a moment to consider your own.
If you are a Christian, you are “someone with a mission” It may lie across the sea, but on the other and, it may lie across the street!
DEALING WITH YOUR YESTERDAY
DEALING WITH YOUR YESTERDAY
2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Song of Solomon 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
2 Timothy 2:21-22 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
The powers controlling many lives are their yesterdays, you must break the power of your yesterday, over your tomorrow. You have to make a clear cut between you and your sinful past, otherwise, it will backfire and work against you in a way you did not expect it.
When a polluted past is ignored, it becomes a dangerous future. When you refuse to tame your today, it will grow into a very wild destructive ‘tomorrow’.
God asked Saul to destroy the Amalekites, but he spared their king and the aft cattle. Haman, who almost destroy the children of Israel was a descendant of Agag. This shows that, the enemy that you spared yesterday, will not spare you today and is likely not to spare you tomorrow.
The story of a boy who went to play a far distance from the father’s house. He picked a ... cub of a lion for a small dog. He hid it from his parents, and continuously feed the cub as a puppy.
One day, he travelled and did not provide food to the cub; when he arrived home from his journey he went to inspect the ‘dog’. On seeing the boy, the cub jumped on him and ate him up.
Sin is like that; it will wait for you to nurture it, feed it, romance it, and then it will destroy you.
Victory at Jericho- but defeat at Ai. Why? A simple reason – sinful disobedience. When the sin is purged, then victory is given. Is there something in your heart that is holding up the victories you ought to be experiencing? Then root it out - today. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
RELY ON GOD
RELY ON GOD
Hebrews 11 :13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Why did Israel lose the battle even though the ark was with them? Perhaps they came to rely more on the ark than on God. When faith in God wavers, faith in animate objects increased. And when that h
FULFILLING GOD’S PROPHETIC AGENDA FOR YOUR LIFE
FULFILLING GOD’S PROPHETIC AGENDA FOR YOUR LIFE
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
David dressing up in Saul’s armour was not the way to victory over Goliath. His defeat required special insight and sanctified cunning. When facing your “Goliath” today, keep in mind that it is “Not by might nor by power, but my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty” (Zech.4:6)
I will fulfill God’s prophetic agenda for my life in Jesus name.
SATAN DOESN’T FIGHT FAIR
SATAN DOESN’T FIGHT FAIR
Satan doesn’t fight fair either."(Satan) is the master of the trapdoor and the author of weak moments. He waits until your back is turned. He waits until your defense is down. He waits until the bell has rung and you are walking back to your corner. Then he aims his arrow at your weakest point and... You lose your temper. You fall. You take a drag. You follow the crowd. You rationalize. You say yes. You sign your name.
You forget who you are. You walk into her room. You look in the window. You buy the magazine. You lie. You covet. You stomp your feet and demand your way. You deny your Master. It’s David disrobing Bathsheba. It’s Adam accepting the fruit from Eve. It’s Abraham lying about Sarah. It’s Peter denying that he ever knew Jesus. It’s Noah, drunk and naked in his tent. It’s Lot, in bed with his own daughter. It’s your worst nightmare. It’s sudden. It’s sin."
WITH GOD A WEB IS AS A WALL
WITH GOD A WEB IS AS A WALL
The story is told of a persecuted Christian who was being chased by some soldiers under orders to put him to death. He saw a cave and rushed in to hide there. The soldiers arrived some time later. As they started to go in they noticed a spider’s web across the cave.
They reasoned that no one had gone into that cave because the spider’s web was there. Later on, the Christian came out and walked through the spider’s web. He realized why the soldiers had not come in and said, “With God a web is as a wall. But without God a wall is as a spider’s web.”
BE NOT WISE IN THINE OWN EYES, FEAR THE LORD.
BE NOT WISE IN THINE OWN EYES, FEAR THE LORD.
.Proverbs:3:5-8 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
When we lean upon our own reason rather than on God’s commands, we run counter to the design of the universe. The theory that the end justifies the means may be part of man’s order, but it is not part of the eternal scheme.
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps, O Lord, make your ways known to me and order my steps toward glorious things in Jesus name.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. O God, delight in my ways.
Let all nations call you blessed: for I shall be a delightsome land in Jesus name.
LABAN PRINCIPLE
LABAN PRINCIPLE
Jeremiah 17: 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Have you heard of the “Laban Principe”?It says that those who scheme to have their own way, as opposed to God’s way, often have a head-on collision with someone who is their equal as a schemer.
O Lord, I reduce for you to increase, I disappear for you to appear, let me not hinder your move in my life in Jesus name.
AWESOME GOD
AWESOME GOD
Psalms 37:23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
God often accomplishes His purpose with us despite our waywardness and stubbornness. But how much grief we would spare ourselves is we would learn to wait on God and follow His bidding to the letter.
O my God bring me up out of any manner of horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings in Jesus name.
IS YOUR NAME WRITTEN IN HEAVEN
IS YOUR NAME WRITTEN IN HEAVEN
Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Have you ever stopped everything and said this one thing to God—your name? What is your name? Ego? Fear? Resentment? Self pity? A new name doesn’t come until we say the old one in other words, confession is catharsis.
Father God, let every name I’ve picked up on the highway of life, due to circumstances, situation, conditions environment etc be destroyed , and let my divine name locate me in Jesus name.
BRIGHTER DAYS
BRIGHTER DAYS
Beloved, for many today, life is gloomy and the future looks bleak. There are many unanswered questions in their minds. Where are we heading to? Who can rescue us? Does God really exist? Why are there so many evil today? These are just a few of such questions, but you are not one of these people. You’re blessed. God will surely send a Joseph in your life; and you will forget your pains of yesterday in Jesus name.
Is your effort in life filled with much disappointment? Are you losing courage and growing weary? Is your life filed with sorrow and despair? Are you friendless? Stop awhile! There is hope. Your days can be brighter if you look in the right direction. Many people desire to see brighter days. They want to have brighter opportunities, better homes, improved health, better jobs, better cars and brighter family lives.
But they seek all these in so many ways except the one acceptable to God; some do make haste to claim the precious promises of God regarding these provisions without considering the attached conditions.
They live their lives as if these conditions do not matter. Yet it is alone in observing them that we find the gateway to brighter days.
What then are the conditions that will make your days brighter?
The first law in heaven is obedience. Tied to this is submission.
Expect divine lifting!
THE MAN THAT ENJOYS GOD’S BLESSINGS
THE MAN THAT ENJOYS GOD’S BLESSING
1 Corinthians. 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.
James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”
God has a marvelous and brilliant way of camouflaging opportunities to look like difficulties. Hundreds of Bible characters, including Joseph, discovered this. Have you?
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
I am confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
We must be careful not to interpret the days of obscurity and isolation as meaningless and unimportant. It is there that God prepares His servants for the Spiritual challenges that lie ahead.
O Lord, you gave me the power to create wealth, let the hands not be found to be profitless in the season of sowing and harvesting in Jesus name.
IN GOD’S CLASSROOM, ADVERSITY IS A COURSE
IN GOD’S CLASSROOM, ADVERSITY IS A COURSE
Romans 8;31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us
Psalms 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Some use unpleasant situation and difficulties as an excuse for becoming bitter and hostile. But God intends that life’s trials should make us better- not bitter. How are you reacting what is happening in your life at the moment - with despair or delight?
LORD, because you are on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? I will boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear, for man shall not do me evil.
What a perilous path
Psalms 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
What a perilous path we walk when we rely upon our own wisdom and neglect to include God in our decision Joshua 9: 14-15 And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. {the men...: or, they received the men by reason of their victuals}And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.
Are you facing a major decision today? Then don’t make a move until you have prayed and invited God’s involvement in your decision making.
THY TESTIMONIES ARE SURE
THY TESTIMONIES ARE SURE
Psalms 93:5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, forever.
Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
(KJV)
"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done..."
(Isaiah 46:10, NKJV)
We all have our day jobs, and as such it also means missing some of the games of our favorite teams on television.
The only remedy is to record the game and watch it again when you come home in the evening.
But sometimes, you'll meet a few of your friends during the course of the day who has already seen the game, and they'll tell you how it went and who won and who lost.
It doesn't matter.
It won't affect the experience when you watch the game for yourself later. In fact, the more your team gets behind in the score, the more excited you get because you know an epic comeback is just around the corner.
As Christians, God has already promised our victory in the Holy Bible.
We already know who wins in the end. You must remember this as you go through the disappointing times in your life, reminding yourself that an epic comeback is just around the corner.
You must not allow yourself to be defeated - you can't, because according to God you've already won.
Study His Words and meditate it where ever you go. It's your best defense to enemy's attack in you.
My God your promise for my life will not elude me in Jesus name.
GROW UP IN THE LORD, DON’T GROW OLD IN THE LORD…
GROW UP IN THE LORD, DON’T GROW OLD IN THE LORD…
2 Corinthains 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
(KJV)
Ever wonder why sometimes you lose interest in praying or reading your Bible?
We all know it's the enemy's spiritual attack on us, but how does he attack us?
You see, knowing his strategies will give us ideas on how to defend ourselves from it.
Common tactic that he uses is to keep us busy by keeping our mind with an overwhelming "to dos".
How do you defend yourself from it?
One summer afternoon, I visited my friend Dan in his home in Lagos, Nigeria.
It was a modest home with a huge backyard overlooking a golf course.
While we're having snack and fellowship, I noticed their fridge doors were covered with these magnetic memorabilia.
I was intrigued so I moved closer to the fridge to see it.
Amazingly, these are souvenirs from different countries and cities in United States my friend and his family has visited.
And as I read each memorabilia one by one, my friend has a great story to share about their experience from that place.
Each memorabilia is associated with unforgettable stories.
In our walk with Christ, we should also have a "mental memorabilia" that will remind us of God's faithfulness.
Regularly, we need to stop and remind ourselves of what God has done and will do for us.
Scripture meditation is your way to defend yourself from overwhelming attack of the enemy.
EVER LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH
EVER LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH
2 Timothy 3:1-7 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
It's a story of young man who was deeply immersed in meditation during a church service, and he failed to kneel at the appropriate moment.
His enemies hurried to the bishop and demanded that the young man be punished for his sacrilege.
The young man defended himself by saying...
"If those who accuse me had had their eyes and minds on God, as I had, they too would have failed to notice events around them, and they most certainly would not have noticed what I was doing."
End of story.
How about you?
Are your eyes and mind on God? Are you growing up in the Lord or growing old in the Lord?
You see, we're in the age of distraction.
There more things now that gets our attention and it's harder to stay focused.
With technology, we now have email, Internet, chat, mobile phones, facebook, etc.
All these compete for your attention and eats up some of your time.
The time that you should be spending on activities that will help you grow spiritually.
Meditating and studying the scriptures can take only 5 to 10 minutes of your time.
But what you'll gain spiritually is immeasurable.
Marinating your mind with God's Word and His promises is the fastest way to be closer to God.
God is ALWAYS looking forward to talk to you with all your attention is on Him.
So don't let the busyness of this world control your life.
Instead, let your life be controlled by the scriptures you've meditated and studied.
GOD OF THE SUDDENLY
GOD OF THE SUDDENLY
I believe we are living in a day and age when God is accelerating His work in our lives! I believe that what used to take days, weeks and even years in times past, God will do in an instant in this day and age.
Believe it or not, in an instant, you can receive your breakthrough.
In an instant, you can be promoted on your job. In an instant, you can receive your healing. In an instant, your relationship can be restored. In an instant, that child can change their ways.
Today, believe that God will take you further than you ever thought possible, faster than you ever thought possible. Trust that your times are in His hands. Know that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf.
Just like in the days of old, God will accelerate your seasons, and He will thrust you into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you!
As long as you keep His words in your heart and mind, He will uphold you with His righteous right hand.
Expect sudden promotion, breakthrough, victory in Jesus name.
BUYING THE WARES OF DISTRUCTION
BUYING THE WARES OF DISTRUCTION
Flesh is the enemy of true source of success.
Flesh is the giant that stand against success: Proverbs 5:21-22 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
Painting of face is extremely expression of carnality for it is a choice to take the body that is redeemed by Christ and to join it to sin and thus becoming flesh with sin. Decorating of the face by our ladies is deception and the only place where deception is not lie is a football field because you will dribble somebody.
The wall of moral standard will develop holes and honesty is becoming less and less popular
1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Our ladies are beautiful without the crude painting on their faces. The error in our land being imported by our ladies is destroying our women and scares away our prospective husbands.
Why would our women waste their earning on makeup kits?.
Why do they feel inadequate?
Do they not know that termites will end up eating flesh their existence in this part of eternity?
Our daily race should be to do the will of our creator.
I pray that flesh will close the door of eternal life in Jesus name.
Many ladies are joining the class of shame and are refusing to break out of their current state and go forward. Unknown to tem they are only helping to improve the fortune of the company kit.
Our society is trained on fake / empty promises and broken vows conditioned to fear.
One of the greatest obstacles erected by men on the way of God is unforgiveness, but deceit has been added to it.
Our ladies should plan neglect, where the flesh is lively sin is inevitable but where the flesh dies sin is absent.
The signpost to success might not be there always so make a move.
BELOVED....
Beloved, your worst day is never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’ grace.
And your best day is never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace.
My everyday desire is that your praises and worship of His awesomeness for His numerous mercies, favour etc goes up to Him regularly.
Rejoice for He will neither leave you nor forsake you.
As the Lord who commanded hope for a tree if it be cut, to sprout again liveth, He will bring every of your expectations to pass in Jesus name.
Relax; God is on your side putting finishing touches to your project in Jesus name, Amen.
THE MAN AT THE BEAUTIFUL GATE.
THE MAN AT THE BEAUTIFUL GATE.
He was lame. Everyday his family members would bring him to the beautiful gate.
He was always the first to arrive at the temple and take his position and e was the last man to go home.
He was never one day requested to be taken inside the church. He was contended just staying at the gate, looking at the hands of those going in and out and checking their faces.
The Characteristics of the man at the Beautiful Gate;-
The beautiful gate Christians are interested only in what the Church can do for them.
They make no attempt to grow in Christ.
They are destruction to others.
They are too busy with their work.
Beloved, your worst day is never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’ grace.
And your best day is never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace.
My everyday desire is that your praises and worship of His awesomeness for His numerous mercies, favour etc goes up to Him regularly.
Rejoice for He will neither leave you nor forsake you.
As the Lord who commanded hope for a tree if it be cut, to sprout again liveth, He will bring every of your expectations to pass in Jesus name.
Relax; God is on your side putting finishing touches to your project in Jesus name, Amen.
SOLOMON WIVES.
SOLOMON WIVES.
I kings 11:9 -11 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
Look into your life; what could stand or is standing as Solomon’s wives? For Solomon withdraw his worship and praises to the Almighty God.
Whatever makes you withdraw your worship and praises to the living God and bestow same onto any god is refers to as Solomon’s wives.
What takes you to other gods or make you neglect your worship of God is evil.
Anything that turnes away your heart after other gods: and makes your heart not to be perfect with the LORD your God, as was the heart of David is Solomon wives..
Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
There are so many Solomons now, they started very well with God, and later were turned away by one thing or the other.
As we run the Heavenly race, we should be very cautious and vigilant, for these ‘Solomoms’ wives are very aggressive and merciless; in trying to bring increase to Satan and depopulate God’s kingdom, we should be reawaken in the spirit to fight the fight of faith and bring profit onto our God.
GOD’S WORD IS OUR PROTECTION
GOD’S WORD IS OUR PROTECTION
Several weeks ago, my 5 year old son and I had a fight.
It started while we were playing a video game.
In the middle of the game and with his excitement he suddenly blurted out "What the F***?"
When I heard this I was shocked!
I'm shocked because nobody in our Christian family is using those words.
Honestly, I was confused and I don't know what to say and do. So my natural reaction was to get mad at him.
Then I asked him..."Where did you learn that?"
And because he knew I'm already mad he started crying and can't talk. But after a while I realized something. The enemy is really after my son.
He's trying to destroy my kids and will do everything he can to steal my son from God's hand.
I suddenly felt fear.
So I hugged my son and told him how much I love him.
I immediately uttered a prayer to God that he protects my son from the enemy. Then I felt the peace of the Lord.
Why am I telling you all these?
I'm sharing you these to give you warning.
Warning that the enemy is true, he's active, and eager to destroy God's great plan for you.
John 10:10 says "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy..."
But the best thing is from the same verse too where it says...
"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
Remember, we're in a battle and God's Word is our protection.
MY FATHER IS THE ENGINEER
MY FATHER IS THE ENGINEER
Exodus 3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
I heard a story about a train traveling through the night in a very violent rainstorm.
The lightning flashes were almost blinding, the rain hitting the windows was deafening and the strong gusty winds rocked the train from side to side.
When the lightning flashed and lighted up the darkness, the passengers could see the rising water along the tracks.
This created terror in the minds of the passengers.
Several passengers noted that through all the noise, lightening and wind, one of the passengers, a little girl, seemed to be at perfect peace.
The adult passengers couldn't figure out why the little girl was so calm during all this excitement.
Finally, one passenger asked her, "How is that you can be so calm when all the rest of us are so worried about what might or could happen?"
The little passenger smiled and said, "My father is the engineer."
End of story.
That's the beauty of knowing that our God is in control everything.
Like the little girl in our story, she's at peace and calm despite people around her are panicking because her father is in control.
Trouble is,...the world is full of sins that feeds our mind unconsciously or subconsciously.
That's why we should be more active and aggressive in meditating God's Word whenever and wherever.
Studying and meditating His Words is our protection from the darkness in this world.
What differentiate "Spirit-Filled" Christians from ordinary Christians is they're action takers. They're willing to do things that most Christians are not willing to do. That includes meditating the scriptures.
FEAR.. THE VEHICLE OF NO – ACHIEVEMENT
FEAR.. THE VEHICLE OF NO – ACHIEVEMENT
In Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."
Shohoiya Yokowai spent 28 years of his life in prison. It was not a prison of bars & locks & wardens, but a self-imposed prison of fear.
He was a Japanese soldier on the island of Guam during World War 2.
And when the American forces landed, he fled into the jungle & found a cave in which he hid for 28 years because he was afraid of being captured by the Americans.
He learned that the war was over by reading one of the thousands of pamphlets dropped into the jungle. But he was afraid.
So for 28 years he lived in the cave, coming out only at night to look for roaches & rats & frogs & mangoes on which he survived.
Finally some natives found him & convinced him that it would be all right for him to come out of his jungle prison.
We think, "What a waste! Imagine, spending 28 years living as a prisoner of fear."
Yet, there are a lot of people who are prisoners of fear.
Fears like...
fear of failing
fear of succeeding
fear of disappointing people
fear of losing our child
fear of the unknown
fear of dying
Frankly, I can have a long list of different fears that people have.
They're not aware of it simply because they call "fear" with a different name.
How about you?
Do you have fear that's preventing God to fully bless your life?
Are you trying to control your life instead of letting God have His way?
Listen, the best way to overcome your fear is to have a strong faith in God and you do this by regularly meditating scripture.
In Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."
No doubt, in developing your faith there's no better substitute to studying the scripture and meditation.
WHY DO HEARTS GET BROKEN?
WHY DO HEARTS GET BROKEN?
In anatomic term, the heart is described as a hollow muscular organ. It’s the engine of the entire body system; it swallows up volumes of blood from the body, sends the blood to the lungs to be oxygenated then vomits it into large blood vessels which supply the body with energy and nutrients. An inspirational outlook into the form of the heart may depict that, the heart has the ability to take lots of emotions in the same manner it receives De-oxygenated blood from the upper and lower parts of the body. These emotions are often expressed in form of words or actions. The heart was not created as a play thing, medics will tell you to adopt healthy habits in order to keep your heart in its best functional form, clerics will tell you to purge your heart of bitterness, hatred, guilt and feed it continuously with edifying words and habits. If the heart can be described this way, if the heart is this important, why then do hearts get broken? Is it that we care less about what goes in and out of our hearts? Or perhaps we do not even have an understanding about how deep and delicate the heart is, or maybe we have no heart at all…ha ha … But can that be the case? Nah! Absolutely not! Anyone without a physical heart is a dead man, and one without an inspirational heart is headed for doom, but while there is still breath, there sure is hope!
Why Then Do Hearts Get Broken?
I was speaking at a relationship program some time ago on this same topic, I started off by asking my audience to raise their hands if any one of them had been, is in or is about go into a relationship. To be honest, I really wasn't surprised when out of about fifty people, only three rose up their hands, in fact two-and-half (because the third person's hand was half raised). Then I told them the number one reason for heartbreaks is DISHONESTY. I gave them a second chance and repeated the question, and then amazingly, so many hands were raised! Why didn't the rest raise their hands the first time? Hmm...
It is so unfortunate that people get into relationships with loads of insincerity, why start of a relationship when you know you are not ready for one? You at least owe yourself the responsibility of speaking the truth to yourself! Yes, tell yourself to be patient, tell yourself to wait for the right time, tell yourself the truth, that even though you are so beautiful and drop dead handsome, you can’t afford to be in a relationship just yet! Tell yourself the truth and convince yourself that it’s the best thing for now, then you will be able to get your 'toaster' off your back and you will be able to keep yourself from chasing after 'intimate partners'.
Consider this, how can you say you love someone yet you know deep down that you are ashamed of introducing him or her as your boyfriend, girlfriend or fiancee? , dishonesty does not pity party alone; it drags lies and deceit everywhere it goes, if I am wrong then please take a minute off your forward course, go down memory lane and tell yourself the truth, how many of your previous relationships were based on honesty? And even when you kissed or punched yourselves goodbye, were you honest about the actual reason for the breakup? Dishonesty causes heartbreaks, it dampens one's spirit, it gradually takes away one's desire to love and be loved, and it kills the drive to make a relationship work! Get honest, stop being crafty just because you want to steal some unnecessary moments of pleasure and perhaps make some monetary gains and popularity that would either leave you or the second party broken and in some cases, get a third party involved in the whole wreck.
There are so many reasons for heartbreaks, but I decided to just dwell on DISHONESTY because relationships should be built on trust, and where there is deceit and lies, there will always be vacancy for trust, and if the foundation is faulty, there would be no stability in that relationship. I want to state at this point that, things can get better if only you set your mind to it. No matter how far you might have gone in the wrong direction, it still doesn’t make it the right way. Make a U-turn, iron things out, ask yourself what you really want in a relationship, then prepare your mind and equip yourself to fit into that picture and to become a propelling force to realizing that dream of a beautiful relationship, be a man and a woman of honor think before you step a foot forward and when you step, be sure it’s the right foot and if at any point you think you missed your step, tell your partner to hold on, go back to the drawing board, check were you must have gone wrong, evaluate that relationship again then move on, for so long as there is a will, there sure is a way!
As I sign out, I implore you to guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life! Ciao!
VACANCY FOR FAITHFUL MEN
VACANCY FOR FAITHFUL MEN
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
The smell of poverty thrives; are you standing up on the inside?
In the controlled life nothing happens by chance. Ruth’s meeting with Boaz was not an accident .It was providentially arranged.
Aren’t you glad that your life is guided, not by luck, but by the Lord- not by the stars, but by the Saviour?
There are vacancies for faithful men, ladies, young adults, women etc…
The truth is -So many Chief Executives are tired and are too busy to accomplish their set goals in life; and are genuinely searching for faithful men to hand over some of their tasks to achieve their set goals .
So many men, ladies and young adults are seriously searching for job around the globe to sustain and maintain their families and also attain their own goals too; but we have reached a junction of confusion, greed and unfaithfulness; and the vacancy pool for faithful men, ladies and young adults is on the increase.
We no longer fear our creator talk –less of the employers; who we desire to destroy together wit business. Biting the fingers that feed you.
The average death rate recorded on a daily bases as per the UN STATISTICS of Wednesday, August 22, 2012 is stated below….
Most of these deaths are caused by starvation due to unfaithfulness.
According to UN statistics an average of 360,000 babies are born each day in this world; and an average of 150,000 people die in the world. One would think that God could have far more important things to do with His time and energy than to create babies in this word to suffer and begin to live in a dying body and to judge the silly souls of the dead to go to heaven or to go to hell! And to think tat this is the God we were all frightened to believe, to love, to worship, and to adore1 What have we here – a supernatural monster?
1.78 deaths is recorded per second
107 deaths is recorded per minute
6,390 death is recorded per hour
153,000 deaths is recorded per day
56.0 million death is recorded per year.
3.9 billion death is recorded per average lifetime (70 pears)
From the above data, we were able to deduce that sickness alone will not be responsible for this data; the more reason why we should be found faithful in our dealing with our fellow human beings.
Most company owners are among the un statistics death rate because they genuinely handed over the responsibility of managing their companies; only for them to mismanage and liquidate the companies.
Many Chief Executive, have been rendered bankrupt because of the attitude of unfaithful personnel.
Faithful men are becoming scarce on the earth and businesses are dying because of our inability to produce faithful men. Even in the pillar of truth, the Church; the rate faithful diminishing in Churches are alarming. Two brothers can no longer do business and agree to share the profit there from due to unfaithfulness.
More worrisome is the fact that it has become the societal norm to dump faithfulness into the dustbins.
Where did we get it wrong? How did we get to where we find ourselves? What do we quickly do mend our ways?
FROM THE LAND OF THE DYING TO THE LAND OF THE LIVING
FROM THE LAND OF THE DYING TO THE LAND OF THE LIVING
Professional golfer Paul Azinger was diagnosed with cancer at age 33.
He had just won a PGA championship and had ten tournament victories to his credit.
He wrote, "A genuine feeling of fear came over me. I could die from cancer. Then another reality hit me even harder. I'm going to die eventually anyway, whether from cancer or something else. It's just a question of when.
Everything I had accomplished in golf became meaningless to me. All I wanted to do was live."
Then he remembered something that Larry Moody, who teaches a Bible study on the tour, had said to him...
"Zinger, we're not in the land of the living going to the land of the dying. We're in the land of the dying trying to get to the land of the living."
Golfer Paul Azinger recovered from chemotherapy and returned to the PGA tour.
He's done pretty well.
But that session with cancer deepened his perspective. He wrote, "I've made a lot of money since I've been on the tour, and I've won a lot of tournaments, but that happiness is always temporary.
The only way you will ever have true contentment is in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
I'm not saying that nothing ever bothers me and I don't have problems, but I feel like I've found the answer to the six-foot hole."
Paul's message was a great reminder for us that our life here on earth is just a dress rehearsal for eternity.
We should always aim to please God and let Him be the center of our lives.
Today, if you feel overwhelmed, stressed, and tired take a short break. Breathe, utter a prayer, and meditate your scripture verse.
Life can be much easier if we store our minds with scriptures throughout the day.
Listen, I'm aware that some Christians think that they have not time and so they don't even exercise any effort to meditate Bible verse.
RAPTURE…RAPTURE…ARE CHRISTIANS READY?
RAPTURE…RAPTURE…ARE CHRISTIANS READY?
George Barna wrote The State of the Church in 2002. Barna conducted a survey of self-pronounced Christians and here's what he found about their knowledge of the Bible.
Now, remember these are Christians...
- 48% could not name the four Gospels.
- 52% cannot identify more than two or three of Jesus' disciples.
- 60% of Christians all over the world can’t name even five of the 10 Commandments.
- When asking graduating high school "born again Christians" over 50% of them thought Sodom and Gomorrah were husband and wife.
- 61% of Christians all over the world think the Sermon on the Mount was preached by Billy Graham.
- 71% of Christians all over the world think "God helps those who help themselves" is a Bible verse.
No wonder George Barna said, "Americans revere the Bible but, by and large they don't know what it says. And because they don't know it, they have become a nation of Biblical illiterates."
We should be ready to defend our faith and encourage others through God's Word.
Listen, if you feel some guilt with the message today then TODAY is the time to change.
Get your Bible and start reading the scripture.
HAVE YOU DUMPED YOUR DREAM?
HAVE YOU DUMPED YOUR DREAM?
We all start out with dreams and aspirations but so many of us fall into the rut of daily life and lose track of those dreams.
Then before you know it days, weeks, months, even years have gone by and not only have we not accomplished our goals but we've almost forgotten what they were to begin with.
That's not the life God wants for you!
He wants you to have so much more ... but you have to take that first step. You have to break out of the rut you are in and instead of doing the same old boring tasks every day spend quality time with him.
Just a few minutes of daily quiet time with God will allow you to draw closer to him and truly hear his will for your life!
Remember, what God says in Jeremiah 29:11-13 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Ready to seek God with all your heart?
Ready to transform a mundane life into a life filled with excitement and love?
YOUR EXPECTATION WILL NOT BE CUT OFF
YOUR EXPECTATION WILL NOT BE CUT OFF
No matter what's going on with your life, no matter where you are in life, whether you are riding the tops of the mountains or scraping the dirt off the ground, listen to this...
...God wants you to know that, as always, everything is going to be alright. "It's going to be okay," He would've whispered in your ear if He could.
Every day is a gift, and therefore every day is a challenge.
God gives us challenges to strengthen us, to bolster our resolve as well as our character.
Many of us easily recognize waking up in the morning as a gift from God, and yet...
...many also fail to acknowledge that challenges are actually blessings in disguise.
That is exactly why we must have faith!
There will always be difficult times in our lives, but always remember it is not the end.
It is never the end with God. He will lead you to victory and to self-fulfillment as He had promised.
God is only testing your faith to prove how much trust you have placed in Him. In the end, all will be well.
GOD IS OUR SALVATION.
GOD IS OUR SALVATION.
Psalm 68:19  Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. (ESV)
God is our salvation. Daily the Lord wholly and fully supplies our every need and bears each burden. This thought should stop us in our tracks, bring us to our knees, and make us cry, "Blessed be the Lord!"
He never gets tired; he never gives up on us; he never sets down the load of our burdens. Daily, hourly, minute by minute, he bears us up. If we could look back with all-seeing eyes over the span of our lives, we would witness the countless times God saved us from trouble. And in the end, he will save us from death. Blessed be the Lord!
HEAVENLY CITIZENSHIP
HEAVENLY CITIZENSHIP.
Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ ... (ESV)
Do you ever feel like an alien? Well, that's because you are! As believers, we are citizens of another country, a kingdom not of this world. We're just pilgrims passing through this land called earth. Our true citizenship, our true home is in heaven.
Our Savior, the Lord Jesus, is already there preparing a place for us. Like a soldier or a missionary serving overseas, it's normal for us to feel a keen longing for our true heavenly home. Just imagine the joyous reunion that awaits us there!
HEAVENLY CITIZENSHIP.
Our Savior, the Lord Jesus, is already there preparing a place for us. Like a soldier or a missionary serving overseas, it's normal for us to feel a keen longing for our true heavenly home. Just imagine the joyous reunion that awaits us there!
WHY WE FAIL.....TOPIC: LITTLE FOXES THAT DESTROYS MARRIAGES.
Everybody seeking marital union, dreams of the ideal partner. But most people end up with bitterness, despair and defeat. Cases of thorny marriages and broken homes have reached such a staggering and unprecedented scale that many bachelors and spinsters are no longer eager to tie the nuptial knot.
There is no denying fact that even for most married women, marriage has become a frustrating experience. The reason is not far –fetched. It is basically because we often leave God out of our plans and decisions, thinking that we are mature enough to know whom to choose as life partners.
READY TO PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION?
READY TO PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION?
Psalms 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Psalms 126: 1-4 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
It's clearly stated in the Bible that "faith without works is dead." If there's no action, it's not really faith but merely a statement, desire, or want.
You see, generous people were considered as such because of their generous actions. Kind people because of their kind actions. Gentle people with their gentle actions.
Now, tell me...how do you know someone is a follower of Christ?
By their "Christ-like" actions.
Truth be told, you can't be a Christian by merely attending a Christian service or be in a Christian church.
Unbelievers may not be reading Bible but they're reading you because you're Christ ambassador.
The only real question to ask yourself is this.
"Can people tell by my actions that I belong to God?"
Reality is, we all have areas to work on. But as believers in Jesus, we can be confident that God is at work in us. He is faithful and will complete what He started.
As we invite Him to search our hearts and minds, as we surrender every area of our heart to Him and put our faith into action, He will finish His perfect work in us!
Ready to put your faith into action?
DISPOSABLE GOD
DISPOSABLE GOD
In a scene from a home video, a film based on real life story of a very sick woman was being produced . Luke has returned to Lagos from the scene of the film, where he has just been working on other films to meet his wife Lucy.
She is dying from cancer, and, through the struggle with her illness, she and Luke, her husband have been discovering the depth of their love for each other.
As Luke arrives at the scene where he is shooting a film, he is met by Tony, a film engineer, who asks what news there is.
Luke hesitates; then, deciding to speak of the film and not the cancer, he says, "Ah, good news, I think, Tony. Yes, good news."
Tony, not aware of the film and thinking that Luke is referring to Lucy’s medical situation, replies, "I know how hard you've been praying .... Now, God is answering your prayer."
"That's not why I pray, Tony," Luke responds. "I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time, waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God; it changes me."
Isn't that true? We all desperately need God and we're all helpless without Him.
But the problem is, we sometimes act as if our relationship with God is "optional." , disposable.
Meaning, we only pray when we're in trouble. We only seek His face when we're confused or in pain. We only read our Bible when we need an answer from Him.
Look, if you've been unfair with your relationship with God now is the time to catch up and make amend.
God is not a disposable item that we use and dump. God is not a disposable item, please.
BLOOD OF JESUS
BLOOD OF JESUS
Psalms 55:23 But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
One night in a Church service a young woman felt the tug of God at her heart; she responded to God’s call and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
The young woman had a very rough past, involving alcohol, drugs, and prostitution.
But, the change in her was evident. As time went on she became a faithful member of the church.
She eventually became involved in the ministry, teaching young children.
It was not very long until this faithful young woman had caught the eye and heart of the pastor’s son.
The relationship grew and they began to make wedding plans. This is when the problems began. You see, about one half of the church did not think that a woman with a pass such as hers was suitable for a pastor’s son.
The church began to argue and fight about the matter. So they decided to have a meeting. As the people made their arguments and tensions increased, the meeting was getting completely out of hand.
The young woman became very upset about all the things being brought up about her past. As she began to cry the pastor’s son stood to speak.
He could not bear the pain it was causing his wife to be. He began to speak and his statement was this:
‘My fiancée’s past is not what is on trial here. What you are questioning is the ability of the blood of Jesus to wash away sin.
Today you have put the blood of Jesus on trial. So, does it wash away sin or not?’
The whole church began to weep as they realized that they had been slandering the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Too often, even as Christians, we bring up the past and use it as a weapon against our brothers and sisters.
Forgiveness is a very foundational part of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If the blood of Jesus does not cleanse the other person completely then it cannot cleanse us completely.
If that is the case, then we are all in a lot of trouble.
What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus! End of case!!!!
‘Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee, He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.’
GOD WILL BRING YOU THROUGH
GOD WILL BRING YOU THROUGH
Mathew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
God brought Noah into the flood and He also brought him out of it. Similarly, He has not brought you to this point in your life to abandon you. Whatever the problems you face at the moment- God will bring you through.
GIVE TIME TO OUR FAMILY
GIVE TIME TO OUR FAMILY
After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, “I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.” The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my mother, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my tree children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally. That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie, “What’s wrong, are you we?” she asked.
My mother is the type of woman who suspects that a ate night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news. “I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you,” I responded. “Just the two of us.” She thought about it for a moment, and then said, “I would like that very much.”
That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, to, seemed to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last her last wedding anniversary.
She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel’s. “I told my friend that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed, ‘she said, as she got into the car. “They can’t wait to hear about our meeting.” We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the first Lady. After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way through the entries. I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at me.
A nostalgic smile was on her lips. “It was I who used to have read the menu when you were small,” she said. “Then it’s time that you relax and let me return the favor,” I responded. During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation- nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other’s life. We talked so much that we missed the movie.
As we arrived at her house later, she said, “I’ll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.” I agreed. “How was your dinner date?” asked my wife when I got home. ‘Very nice. Much more so than I could have imaging,’ I answered. A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn’t have a chance to do anything for her. Sometime later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place mother and I had dined. An attached note said:
‘I paid this bill in advance. I wasn’t sure that I could be there; but nevertheless. I paid for two plates- one for you and the other for your wife.’ You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son “At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: I LOVE YOU” and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till “some other time.”
GOD DIRECT ME ALWAYS…
GOD DIRECT ME ALWAYS…
Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Prroverb 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths
A traveling man came into a hotel to secure a room for the night.
Upon being informed that every room in the building had been taken, he was naturally quite perturbed, until a portly gentleman standing nearby kindly offered to share his room with him.
The offer was thankfully accepted.
Upon retiring, the portly man knelt and prayed, tenderly mentioning his guest for the night in his petition.
In the morning his host informed him that it was his custom to read a portion of the Word of God and pray before taking up the responsibilities of the day.
The effect upon the man was moving; a strange feeling came over him; something had been working in his heart all the night.
When gently pressed by this stranger to accept the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior, his resistance went down in a heap. A soul had been won for Christ!
But who is this humble ambassador of Christ, who so strikingly resembles a member of President Wilson's cabinet?
When business cards were exchanged before parting, to the guest's amazement he read, "William Jennings Bryan, Secretary of State."
You see, by starting your day with God's Word through studying the scripture and meditation, you're inviting amazing and miraculous things to happen around you. With the study of the scripture and meditation, you're basically saying to God..."Oh Lord, please take control of my day today!"
So go ahead and...
ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE MASTER’S USE
ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE MASTER’S USE
A certain king needed a faithful servant and had to choose between two candidates for the office.
He took both at fixed wages and told them to fill a basket with water from a nearby well, saying that he would come in the evening to inspect their work.
After dumping one or two buckets of water into the basket, one of the men said, "What is the good of doing this useless work? As soon as we pour the water in, it runs out the sides."
The other answered, "But we have our wages, haven't we? The use is the master's business, not ours. He is a wise King, and must have his own purpose that we do not understand."
"I'm not going to do such fool's work," replied the complainer. Throwing down his bucket, he went away.
The other man continued until he had drained the well. Looking down into it, he saw something shining at the bottom - it was a diamond ring.
"Now I see the use of pouring water into the basket!" he exclaimed. "If the bucket had brought up the ring before the well was dry, it would have been filtered out in the basket. The King was looking for his diamond. Our work was not useless."
The King found his most faithful servant!
The point is, in our lives there undesirable events that happened or will happen and only God knows why.
Regardless, we just need to do what we need to do and remain faithful.
With discipline let your eyes be focus on God no matter what's happening around y, do no allow a complainer to deny you of your gold in life.
Many lose opportunity to be great because of murmuring, complains, discouragement etc.
PAY A HIGH PRICE TO LEARN WISDOM OF INWARD TRUTHFULNESS
Psalms 35:23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Psalms 22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
Proverbs 28:15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people..
Daniel 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him
1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
(KJV)
2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
Some fishermen decided to export cod fish; they congealed the fish and kept them refrigerated till they got to their destination. To their disappointment, the fish had lost its savour by the time it got there.
The next time, they conserved it in sea – water, thinking that the salt content of the water would preserve it but on arrival, the fish had gone soft and had lost its savour and was uninviting.
The put heads together to find how they can export this highly – nutritious fish. An old fisherman came to them and advised that they should put the fish’s worst enemy in the tank with it.
It’s worst enemy in the cat - fish. The young fishermen found the old man funny.They laughed and wondered how his suggestion would work. However, they decided to give it try.
They got a bid tank, put the fish in it and put a cat – fish along in the water. To their utter amazement, the fish got to their destination safely and alive. They retained their savour and the men were happy.
Why did the fish got there safely? It was because it’s enemy, the cat – fish, was in the tank with them, chasing them all over the place. They were restless and alert, so they were alive to escape from adversity. That was how they arrived safely and retained their savour.
Many people would not bother to go Church, if not for the enemy. Many would not have bothered about churches, if not for life challenges, many would not go to church meetings, if not for the storms confronting them.
LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING
LEAN NOT UNTO THINE  OWN UNDERSTANDING
Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Psalms 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
What a perilous path we walk when we rely upon our own wisdom and neglect to include God in our decision Joshua 9: 14-15 And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.
Are you facing a major decision today? Then don’t make a move until you have prayed and invited God’s involvement in your decision making.
My father, every major decision I face today Lord, I invite you into my affairs, lead me aright ; let me not abort you plans for my life in Jesus name.
“IT IS WRITTEN…..”
“IT IS WRITTEN…..”
Mathew 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
Deuteronomy 8:3 “And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”
I have heard a man, say... "The measure of the greatness of a man's love for God is not found in his attention to the things he has to do, but in his attention to the things he doesn't have to do."
That is, your salvation doesn't depend on your going to Sunday school or prayer; but your greatness as a Christian, and your intimacy with God.
And probably there's no other religious activities can help you develop your intimacy with God better than reading God's Word, confessing it, and meditating on it throughout the day.
Because if you'll think about it scripture, meditation is a form of worship, a form of prayer, a form of power. It's like one stone killing three birds at once.
So make it a habit to read, confess, study and meditate scriptures.
It's a good discipline that develops your faith and relationship with your creator.
As it is written in Matthew 4:4 "Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Don't start your day without meditating your confessing some verses of the scriptures.
Then, utilize it when faced with one form of trial or the other in your daily activities.
Don't let the enemy push you to procrastinate again. So go on and start absorb the word of God ...
It is written that as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not cease…my Father God, let my seed time and harvest never cease in Jesus name.
LIFE'S RULE -- NO VACUUM
LIFE'S RULE -- NO VACUUM
Speaking to a large audience, D.L. Moody held up a glass and asked, "How can I get the air out of this glass?"
One man shouted, "Suck it out with a pump!" Moody replied, "That would create a vacuum and shatter the glass."
After numerous other suggestions Moody smiled, picked up a pitcher of water, and filled the glass. "There," he said, "all the air is now removed."
He then went on to explain that victory in the Christian life is not accomplished by "sucking out a sin here and there," but by being filled with the Holy Spirit.
The point is, unless you're filled with the Holy Spirit, you'll continue to struggle with sins.
Every day, as soon as you wake up, meditate and study a verse of the scriptures. This way you're grooming yourself for a victorious day with Christ.
Scripture study and confession is powerful beyond measure. It reinforces who you are and who your God is. And that's how to have a victorious Christian life.
Also, armed with the word of God, you will boast in the Lord and you will not give the devil any room to operate in your mind.
If you have not started or inconsistent in your study of the scriptures, do not allow the enemy to come and sow tares among your wheat, and continues his journey of destruction in Jesus name.
When Christ was tempted, the only response He did was to recite God's Word. And that's more than enough to rebuke the devil.
Now it's your turn to win your own spiritual battles through confessing the word, studying the word and doing as the word instructs.
TRUST IN THE LORD
TRUST IN THE LORD.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Wisdom and greatness, although admirable and highly desirable qualities, are insignificant in themselves to guarantee spiritual progress and stability, we must walk in daily dependence upon God or ask, like Solomon we will fall and fall if we fail to daily depend upon God.
WHERE TRUE JOY IS FOUND
WHERE TRUE JOY IS FOUND
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
If wealth and honour alone could satisfy the soul then Solomon would have known complete fulfillment.
His disappointment can be summed up in the words, “all in vanity and vexation of spirit.” True joy is found not “under the sun,”but above the sun and in God’s eternal presence.
GOD'S STRATEGY -DIVINE PLAN
GOD'S STRATEGY -DIVINE PLAN
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Psalms 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Just as God gave Gideon a strategy to overcome the Medianites, so He is able to provide you with a divine plan to restore your most pressing problems. Who and what are the “Medianites in your life?
Pinpoint a problem right now and ask God to give His strategy for dealing with it.
DISOBEDIENCE - SPIRITUAL POISON
DISOBEDIENCE - SPIRITUAL POISON
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
After 40 years of strife in the wilderness and months of bitterness warfare, the Israelites, finally take control of Canaan .And guess what? They could have occupied the Promised Land far sooner had they been obedient. Got the point?
Many hard working people are dying today because they attitude problems and are disobedient.
If you desire God's blessings, learn to be obedient.
GOD, ENLIGHTEN MY DARKNESS…..
GOD, ENLIGHTEN MY DARKNESS…..
Psalms 18:28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. (KJV)
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
(KJV)
Dr. Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ tells this story of a famous oil field called Yates Pool:
During the depression this field was a sheep ranch owned by a man named Yates. Mr. Yates wasn't able to make enough on his ranching operation to pay the principal and interest on the mortgage, so he was in danger of losing his ranch.
With little money for clothes or food, his family (like many others) had to live on government subsidy.
Day after day, as he grazed his sheep over those rolling West Texas hills, he was no doubt greatly troubled about how he would pay his bills.
Then a seismographic crew from an oil company came into the area and told him there might be oil on his land. They asked permission to drill a wildcat well, and he signed a lease contract.
At 1,115 feet they struck a huge oil reserve. The first well came in at 80,000 barrels a day. Many subsequent wells were more than twice as large.
In fact, 30 years after the discovery, a government test of one of the wells showed it still had the potential flow of 125,000 barrels of oil a day.
And Mr. Yates owned it all.
The day he purchased the land he had received the oil and mineral rights. Yet, he'd been living on relief.
A multimillionaire living in poverty.
The problem? He didn't know the oil was there even though he owned it.
Many Christians live in spiritual poverty.
Simply because they don't take the time to read, reflect, and meditate scriptures.
They are entitled to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and his energizing power, but they are not aware of their birthright.
Today is the day that you break spiritual poverty though scripture memorization.
With just one verse at a time begin to memorize and meditate scriptures throughout the day.
If you've tried to memorize before and failed, there's no harm in trying it again.
Take a peek on this special course we developed to help you memorize better.
Spiritual growth doesn't happen with inaction. Have faith and take action.
Today, the spirit of God in you: and the inspiration of the Almighty attract to you understanding and knowledge to excel in Jesus name.
LET GOD LEAD THE WAY...
LET GOD LEAD THE WAY…
The best-selling book among all Christian books right now is The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Warren begins his book with these words...
"It's not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God."
It's so true.
Begin with God and He'll reveal to you great and amazing things in this life; your true purpose.
And in my experience, God reveal things to me mostly while I'm reading and meditating His Words.
That's why I'm eager to encourage and help Christians from different part of the world to develop the habit of PRAYIN WITH scripture.
Your life will be much better if you know where God is leading you.
God is excited to reveal things to you but the question is...are you ready? Are you eager to hear His voice and know your true purpose in this life?
If your answer is "Yes!" then starting today commit yourself to memorize scriptures one verse at a time.
I'll show you how to do it effectively and consistently in this special course.
We're constantly developing the course to make it more effective, enjoyable, and exciting.
If you don't let God lead you, you're letting the enemy lead you instead. Take the time now
It's one way to stay focus in God.
